How many of you are hosting Holiday parties this year? Having friends over for cocktails?
At this time of year, there are gatherings galore. That brings me to put together a menu for dinner and what drinks to serve with it. It can get hectic, so one thing I like to do is to keep things as simple as possible. There’s only one Martha people! Keep that in mind.
You can throw a great party without having to spend more time than you need in your kitchen. At the end of the day, the holidays are about getting together with the ones you love the most, having fun, catching up and having a drink or two ( or three because holidays !!)
Speaking of saving time in the kitchen, I recently got a Vitamix and it has saved me so much time while prepping meals and smoothies!
From soups, to hummus, to this holiday inspired pomegranate and prosecco frozen cocktail, things have gotten so much easier! Using my Vitamix 750, the results were simply amazing. Its powerful 10 speed variable delivers a super smooth blend, without any chunks of ice or fruit. This cocktail is perfect for the holiday season and will have your friends and family asking for more. I hope you enjoy the recipe below!
Ingredients
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 2 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 3 1/2 cups prosecco ( or Cava)
- 1/2 cup vodka or gin
- The juice of one clementine
- Pomegranate seeds and mint
Directions
Add liquids and mixed berries to your Vitamix ( or multi speed blender ) and blend for about a minute or until smooth.
