Nescafé newest coffee experience

What's that one thing you can't start your morning without? For me the answer is simple. COFFEE! I simply can't function without it. If I have to track where my love of coffee began, I would have to say it started in Dominican Republic, where I grew up. My grandmother used to wait until I got back from school and make me a latte before I could get started on homework. A coffee lover in training since I was 10 :)

If I had to track where my love of coffee began, I would have to say it started in Dominican Republic, where I grew up. My coffee love hasn’t changed one bit and on days that jet lag is hitting me strong (pretty much always) mornings start with a double espresso. When mornings are slow or during weekends, it’s a latte. Nescafé is known for their many instant coffee flavours, yes instant, and to me, delicious and heaven sent. On my overnight flights, I carry a few sachets to keep me awake and it’s also the first coffee I have after waking up from a quick nap at the hotel.

Recently, I stopped by the Nescafé pop- up coffee shop to check it out and I loved it.  The Nescafé Taproom is located on the always hip Queen West neighbourhood at 499 Queen St.  The space is massive, has high ceilings and is divided into many areas to work, relax and chat with friends while enjoying a cup of coffee that you will be able to make by yourself. No baristas, no long line ups but several hot water stylish taps and an array of cups, so you can choose your favourite coffee flavour (from Mocha, original Sweet and Creamy and French vanilla) all available for your try out. Take a peek for yourself here. The local eclair shop Nugateau has their delicious creations on site as well.

The Nescafé Taproom is open until July 12, every day from 9 am to 7 pm.
