Wild Mushroom Tartines with Boursin Bouquet of Basil and Chive
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Tbsp truffle oil
- 1 medium white onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 Cups mixed mushrooms ( Oyster, Shitake, Cremini, Oyster)
- 1/2 Cup basil or parsley, tightly packed
- 1 Multigrain baguette
- 1 Package Boursin Bouquet of Basil & Chive, crumbled
- In a medium frying pan, heat the oils over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent and golden brown.
- Add the garlic and mushrooms. Continue to cook for about 2 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper and parsley, stirring until combined and set aside.
- Slice bread in thick slices. Here you have the option to toast them at home or leave them as is.
- At the picnic, top the bread slices with the mushroom mixture and add a spoonful of Boursin Bouquet of Basil and chive on top.
