Can't begin to wrap by head around the fact that Gaby turned 16 years old yesterday. How did time fly by so fast?
All I know is that I want to be by her side for life, watching her grow, supporting her every step of the way. Gaby's one of the kindest people I know. She's true to herself, she likes to help others, she's thoughtful, smart and resilient.
She is, and forever will be, my baby.

✨Cinnamon Waffles with berries and maple whipped cream✨
The Sunday Waffles tradition started when Gaby was about 1 year old. It followed us while we lived in other countries, while the girls kept growing, it's what I look forward the most on Sunday mornings. And today, while it's hard to tell what day of the week it is anymore, these waffles remind me that while my family is healthy, together, and pouring maple syrup on waffles, then things are good. That there are reasons to be grateful under any circumstances.

✨PIZZA MARGHERITA ✨⁣
Made pizza for dinner last night and thinking of having another pizza night this weekend. The recipe comes via @robertaspizza for @nytcooking and it's without a doubt my favorite pizza dough. ⁣

The trick when baking homemade pizza is to pre-heat your oven to its highest temperature (I had mine in convection mode at 550 F)The pizza stone ( I prefer steel) has to be in it and placed on the lower rack. 4 minutes was all the time it took to bake them👌🏽⁣

I've also been trying to keep a routine. Working out at home, reading, making recipes from other food blogs, and creating simple meals to share with my family and with you. Like this lemony Israeli salad and Labneh on toast.⁣ And even though I love to lounge around wearing comfy leggings and a sweatshirt, lately I've been dressing up just to be at home. It has helped me with my mood, and at this point we have to do anything that cheers us up right? Which brings me to this jumpsuit from @molly_bracken_officiel , it feels like a second skin 👌🏽and comfort is all that matters right now. ⁣ ⁣⁣
