After more than 2 and a half years in the making, I could’t be more excited to announce that the Diala’s Kitchen Cookbook is officially available for pre-order! The book has over 100 Plant-Forward and Pescatarian recipes that are filled with inspiration from my kitchen and travels around the world. All the recipes are brand new, and have one thing in common; they are easy to put together, so that you can spend quality time with your family and friends. I’m a firm believer that healthy and wholesome recipes don’t need to be time consuming!
Diala’s Kitchen. The beginning of a dream.
The cookbook has been a true labour of love. Never could I have imagined when I started collecting recipes and cookbooks in Montreal, that years later, I would be announcing the release of my own cookbook. Diala’s Kitchen was born out of my never-ending desire to share the flavours from my kitchen inspired by every city I’ve visited over the years. The trips to farmers markets, the taste of a new spice, pasta made from scratch drizzled with local olive oil. Every dish I’ve tried while travelling has inspired me, but inspiration has also come from my own kitchen. From the ingredients I keep handy, to the local produce I am lucky enough to be surrounded by in the bountiful Niagara region.
Here’s what you’ll find in Diala’s Kitchen
My approach to this book was to create meals that wouldn’t take you hours to put together. Simply put, Diala’s Kitchen embodies everyday cooking that highlights fresh produce and Pescatarian dishes while being big on flavour. I also wanted to keep it simple when it comes to ingredients; so that you’ll be be able to find most of them at your local grocery store.
100+ all-new vibrant recipes for any day of the week!
The book is organized by meal type. Including Breakfast and Brunch, Lunch, Soup, Starters and Salads, Dinner, and Desserts. Each chapter is packed with recipes that are healthy and celebrate simplicity. The breakfast chapter will bring you fluffy Chia and Banana Pancakes for a Saturday breakfast, or Berry, Almond and Yogurt muffins to start your week right. Vegetable and Manchego Galette or a fragrantly spiced Chana Masala for lunch are some of my favourite recipes in this chapter. And for dinner with your family, a dish that’s a favourite in our home, Sesame and Maple Glazed Salmon. Dessert can’t be missed, so I suggest you get started with The Fudgiest Chocolate Brownies With Salted Caramel Sauce right away!
